Oklahoma City Metro Service Areas

The whole metro. One licensed team.

Kelvin Electric serves residential and commercial clients across all sixteen of the OKC metro’s primary communities, from Edmond to Norman, Yukon to and everywhere in between.

Where your home is. That's where we work.

Kelvin Electric is locally based in Oklahoma City. We’re not a national franchise sending crews from out of state. The team that answers your call is the same team that walks your property, gives you a quote, and does the work, and chances are, they live just a few minutes from your front door.
Our work across the OKC metro means we know the older neighborhoods, the new construction subdivisions, the local building inspectors, and the quirks of every city’s permit process. That local knowledge translates into faster turnarounds, cleaner work, and fewer surprises on every project.

The cities we serve every week.

These are the OKC metro communities Kelvin Electric serves most frequently: homeowners, contractors, and businesses calling us for the full range of residential and commercial work.
From the older neighborhoods near downtown to newer subdivisions on the city’s edges, we know OKC inside and out. Demand here runs the full range: emergency calls, panel upgrades, full home rewires, generator installs, and commercial buildouts.

Edmond

Affluent residential · Growing fast
Edmond’s high-end residential market and growing population mean we’re constantly installing EV chargers, smart home wiring, recessed lighting, and panel upgrades for newer construction homes that need more capacity.

Norman

University town · OU community
Norman’s mix of older neighborhoods near campus and newer subdivisions on the outskirts keeps us busy with rewiring, surge protection, and generator work. The OU community trusts us for everything from rental property repairs to whole-home upgrades.

Moore

Resilient community · Generator demand high
Moore’s residents know what it means to lose power and what it costs. Whole-home standby generator installation is one of our most-requested services in this community: along with panel upgrades and storm-related electrical work.

Yukon

Growing suburb · New construction heavy
Yukon’s expansion west of OKC has driven steady demand for new construction electrical, indoor and outdoor lighting installations, panel upgrades, and the kind of work that comes with newer suburban homes.

Mustang

Suburban growth · Family-oriented
Mustang’s blend of established neighborhoods and newer family-focused subdivisions creates steady demand for ceiling fans, lighting upgrades, smoke detector installations, and the day-to-day electrical work that keeps homes safe and comfortable.

Every community we serve.

We're not the ones passing through.

Some electrical contractors come and go. They chase work across state lines, sub out jobs they don’t actually staff, and disappear when something needs to be revisited.
Kelvin Electric isn’t that. We’ve been based in the OKC metro. Our crew lives here. Our families are here. When you call us back about something six months from now, we’ll still be in the same building, still answering the same phone.
That’s what local actually means.

How Kelvin Electric Pricing Works

No guessing. Here is how pricing works, so you know what to expect before we arrive.

Service Call: $175

If something isn’t working right, we come out and work to fix it, usually within the first hour. The service call is $175, plus any parts needed. If it looks like the job will run past an hour or is more than a quick fix, we stop, explain what we found, and you decide what happens next.

Quote From Photos or Video: No Charge

For many smaller jobs we can quote from photos or video at no charge. If we arrive and find more than the photos showed, we stop and walk you through what we found before any work begins.

In-Person Quote: $175, Credited to Your Job

If we need to see the job in person, the quote visit is $175. If you choose to move forward with the work, that $175 is credited toward it.

Same services. Same standard.

Every service Kelvin Electric offers is available in every city we serve. No tiered service areas, no premium-only zones. Just the same standard of work, everywhere we go.

How does Kelvin Electric charge for service calls and quotes?
A service call is $175, plus any parts, and we aim to fix the problem within the first hour. If it looks like the job will run past an hour or is more than a quick fix, we stop, explain what we found, and you decide what happens next. For many smaller jobs we can quote from photos or video at no charge. If we arrive and find more than the photos showed, we stop and walk you through what we missed before any work begins. If we need to quote in person, the visit is $175, and it is credited toward the work if you choose to move forward.
Do you actually serve all of these cities?
Yes. We regularly work in every city listed on this page. Our crews are based in Oklahoma City and we travel across the entire metro for both residential and commercial projects. If you're located in one of these cities and need electrical work, you're in our service area.
How quickly can you respond in my area?
Response time depends on the city, the urgency, and our current workload. For most scheduled projects across the metro, we can typically get out for a consultation within a few business days. Emergency calls are handled with priority. Give us a call and we'll give you a realistic timeline based on your specific area and need.
Do you charge a travel fee for cities outside Oklahoma City?
For most of the OKC metro communities we list on this page, our standard pricing applies. No separate travel fees. For projects in outlying areas or unusual locations, we discuss any travel considerations upfront so there are no surprises on the invoice.
What if I'm just outside the cities listed?
Just call. Chances are we can still help: the cities on this page are our most-served communities, but we regularly take projects in surrounding areas as well. We'd rather hear from you and figure out if we're a fit than have you assume we can't help.
Are the same crews working in every city?
Yes. Kelvin Electric isn't a franchise with separate teams in different cities. The same licensed, insured crew that works in Oklahoma City is the same crew that shows up in Edmond, Norman, Yukon, or anywhere else in the metro. One team, one standard.
Do you do residential and commercial work in every city?
Yes. Every service we offer, residential and commercial, is available across every OKC metro community we serve. Homeowner repairs in Norman, commercial buildouts in Edmond, generator installs in Moore: same standard, same crew, same accountability.

Wherever you are, we'll be there.

Whether your project is in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Norman, Moore, or anywhere else in the metro, the next step is the same: a quick conversation about what you need.
